Birth doula

5 stars

Meg joined our team as our doula for our beautiful baby girl born in December 2024. Who knew that stumbling across someone on social media would have the transformative impact it did! Informative, inspiring, and supportive, Meg was there every step of the way for my first experience of pregnancy, birth and post partum.

Preparing for birth with Meg, supported by her excellent online course (which I can't believe is as cheap as it is!) gave me control over my birth journey and enabled me to make the best decisions for us in the moment.

Megs wraparound care was amazing, from bringing us the birth pool, cloth nappies, slings, and homemade soup/bread and other potions, to settling my anxieties and setting our intentions for transitioning to parenthood.

I couldn't recommend Meg enough. Thank you so much!

Virtual doula

We booked a power hour with Meg at 35 weeks to discuss some things around free birth. I knew I wanted a home birth but there was no home birth team for my area and we were lacking some confidence around doing it on our own.

The power hour was super helpful and after finding out about Meg's build your own package for her virtual service we booked straight away. It was the best decision  made/money spent during the pregnancy and so affordable!

Knowing that Meg was there on the other end of the phone in the lead up to and during labour was massively reassuring and gave me and my husband the confidence boost we needed to stay at home for the birth.

Birthing our second son at home was the most magical and empowering experience that I'll remember forever and I'm so grateful for your help and support, Meg!

Hypnobirthing

We are so glad we have worked with Meg in the lead up to birth. She is a fountain of knowledge and has made both me and my partner feel super confident about birth and excited for what is to come. The sessions were so informative and Meg was able to answer any questions we had, always sending us extra resources and information to read through afterwards which has helped us to make informed decisions about our birth plans. I would recommend any first-time parents like us to invest in the hypno course, it's been invaluable to us and I'm looking forward to Meg continuing to be part of our birth journey as we utilize her other fab services!

Birth doula

It has been such a joy to work with Megan in late pregnancy and post partum.

Our little one decided to make an early arrival and Megan was absolutely incredible at supporting me throughout my time in hospital both before, during and after labour even though I was only 34 weeks pregnant and we had only been working together for a couple of weeks.

I had spent some time looking around for a doula who I thought aligned with my values and clicked with Megan instantly. She is a fantastic listener and is a really incredible asset to have on your team. She has a judgement-free approach and is able to adapt to all situations. I hadn't written a birth plan before my labour and having Megan on hand 24/7 to discuss options and in person throughout labour was really priceless.

With Megan by our side my husband and I felt empowered and able to make decisions appropriate for our family as we welcomed our little one earthside. I couldn't recommend working with her more highly.

Postpartum preparation

I booked a postpartum workshop, where Meg came to my house. It was so relaxed, and informative. She checked in where I was at and how I was feeling about things, and discussed all aspects of what to expect in the postpartum period, which included energy levels, visitors, nutrition, slings, safe sleeping, nappy changing. She also shared her passion for working with women around Birth, which made it feel accessible to ask any question. The session was really great, and empowers you by feeling more informed, of what to expect. She followed up with an email with all the information and handouts, and left a goody bag which was lovely! I also feel if I have any questions I can just check in with her. Would definitely recommend this course.

Virtual doula

As a first time mum planning a home birth, I booked Meg for virtual doula services after finding her on TikTok and then binging her podcast. Her podcast meant that even before our free consultation I knew I was going to book her as I could already tell we were aligned in values and personality!

Once you book with her, you can WhatsApp her at anytime for things related to birth and postpartum. I know I'm just a client but Meg really makes you feel like you are one of her oldest, greatest friends (but more knowledgeable and wise than any friend I have ha). No question, rant, or gruesome picture (if you know, you know) was ever too much...

I drew on her talk through my birth and post- partum plan, as a sounding board for my BRAIN thinking before/after midwife appointments and key decisions, during labour, and for a post-birth debrief. She's a very successful doula in that no matter what kind of birth you are planning, you can't tell what her personal preferences are and she really just makes you feel empowered in your own choices and decisions based on what is right for you. I also did her hypnobirthing course (included in the package) and the amount of videos and resources is really_great value for money on it's own.

I wholeheartedly believe her quick advice and supportive messages around my decision making was a crucial part of why I managed a natural, physiological birth at 41+1weeks with no sweeps, no interventions, and just breathing and gas&air (in a system where that is so sadly rare).

Lastly I should say I was so appreciative that Meg was open to organising a pick-n-mix package for me given I couldn't afford the recommended package (and I'd done a lot of research independently already). BUT if you can stretch to afford her full package you absolutely should! It would be well worth it!

Thanks so much and see you for baby number 2!! (Think that says a lot in itself as I'm only 4 weeks PP)

Pregnancy relaxation

I attended the Zoom pregnancy relaxation sessions run by Meg throughout April and can't recommend them highly enough, I'm sad they've come to an end! From a really useful chat on different topics to start off (my favourite was about birth environments) to a different breathing exercise and guided meditation each week, I not only learned a lot but also came away feeling so much calmer and focussed. Thanks Meg!

Hypnobirthing

Meg is a fantastic doula and teacher. We had private hypnobirthing sessions and can't recommend Meg enough. She worked around our schedule and created a relaxed atmosphere where we could ask her many questions. Feeling a lot more knowledgeable and calm for when baby arrives. There was a lot we didn't know we didn't know.

Hypnobirthing essentials

I had a 3h Hypnobirthing and Birth preparation session with Meg and it was the best 3h I invested in any birth preparation during this pregnancy. Megan is super welcoming and a great communicator. I felt really relaxed and was able to learn so many tools to prepare and support us on this journey! I highly recommend it. Thank you Meg xxx

Homebirth workshop

Just wanted to say.. thanks so so much for your online birth prep content.

After a traumatic long and induced labour with episiotomy healing complications leading to 3 months in bed post partum last time and diagnosis of PTSD with counselling and I think undiagnosed PND I wanted to educate myself extra well in prep for a homebirth!

Your content + homebirth zoom really prepared me in so so sooo many ways!

I cannot thank you enough honestly!

I went on to freebirth - simply because things escalated so quickly and the midwives arrived literally 3 mins after my second little girl w THE DUN born! I breathed my way through using nothing but a comb Sounding like a cow as my toddler likes to keep reminding me

I feel amazing and elated and just incredible after listening to my body and trusting in the magic of birth! It was all the therapy I needed and you're resources helped SO much! So thanks again from the bottom of my heart!

Hypnobirthing

We attended Meg's hypnobirthing course and it was brilliant. I was dreading labour my entire pregnancy up until I started the course with Meg. The techniques and information learned during the course really changed my feelings towards birth and now I'm actually looking forward to labour! My partner learned a lot too and we both feel really confident on what he can do to help me during the birth. Meg offers continued support after the course too, leading up to your due date and beyond, it's brilliant to have that knowledgable point of contact in the back pocket!

Hypnobirthing

My partner and I did meg's hypnobirthing course and it was just brilliant. Meg was friendly and flexible when arranging and came to our house for the sessions. Meg was a great teacher, and gave us info on the physiology of birth and various hypnobirthing techniques. She was positive and non judgemental and really boosted my confidence around giving birth and the fourth trimester.

My partner also found the sessions super helpful, and gave him knowledge and skills to be an amazing birth partner and advocate.
